Data Center Network Specialist Job DescriptionAbout the Role:This position requires a highly skilled network engineer to design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure of The University of Vermont Health Network. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, including routing, switching, and security.Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex network architectures to meet the organization's current and future requirements.
• Plan and deploy network upgrades and expansions while considering scalability and security.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and inventory records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects.
• Evaluate and select network hardware and software vendors.Requirements:
  • 5 or more years' experience in network engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
