Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Patient Mobility Assistant to join our team at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for ambulation of patients allowing them to maintain strength and mobility.

What you will do:

* Play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by helping them walk and gain functionality on their own.
* Extensive mobility required. Walking, bending, standing, and moving.
* Interacts and collaborates with all members of the heath care team, RN, PCT, MD. etc. in a professional manner.
* May be exposed to blood, body tissues or fluids and dust. Position requires ability to push/pull/lift more than 50 lbs.
* The Patient Care Tech may also perform secretarial tasks to aid in the flow of the unit.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
* Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
* CPR/ Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross)

Schedule

* Full-Time, 40 hours day shift
* Must work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.
