Diesel Direct is Hiring Diesel MechanicsEast Providence, Rhode IslandMechanic Benefits:Hourly pay is $25 - $35 per hour based on experienceOur mechanics average between $1,000 - $1,400 per weekThis is a full-time position - 40 hours per week - overtime is possibleOvertime pay is time and a halfNo weekends typically (unless required by company demand)Heated and cooled shop that is well-ventilated and very cleanCompany-provided uniformsPaid holidays and PTOPTO starts accruing after the first week at 2.0 hours a week until 40 hours then changes to .47 per weekMedical, dental, vision, and 401KMechanic Requirements:At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience (Preferred)A CDL and hazmat endorsement is preferred, but not requiredMust have your own tools and be able to weld equipment as neededAbility to recognize vehicle maintenance needsAbility to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directionsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsInspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and maintenance on equipmentInterpret work orders and technical manualsRepair or replace defective parts, components, or systemsTest repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work meets the manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulationsThe ability to work alone or as a teamAbout Diesel DirectDiesel Direct Delivers High-Quality Fuel, Reliable Fuel Services, and Peace of MindOur business, team members, and partners are like family to us.
