Street is executing an enterprise-wide ("One State Street")
Investor Data Products & Analytics ("IDPA") strategy, expanding on
the data products that we offer clients today within our Global
Markets business and State Street Associates. Falling under the
Chief Product Office, IDPA will develop and bring to market
products from State Street data to create new value for State
Street and its customers. This includes ideating for new products,
building requirements and roadmaps, working with the Commercial
organization to successfully launch new data products, providing
customer support functions, measuring in-field performance, and
implementing improvement strategies and tactics. The business will
procure and maintain appropriate data rights to ensure that we can
be successful in our commercialization plans.Primary
Responsibilities
- The IDPA Operations and Infrastructure Specialist will work
across the IDPA business unit functional areas to ensure
business-as-usual operations align with best practices and adhere
to corporate policies and requirements.
- As required, the specialist will create, own, and manage any
related cross functional processes and help develop business unit
frameworks.
- The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert,
interfacing with corporate functions such as Business Controls,
Risk Management and Compliance pro-actively identifying and
addressing gaps in procedures and controls.
- The specialist will provide administrative support for the
business unit and may be asked to participate or manage special
projects, including new product approvals.Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have a sound understanding of
operational functions, risk management (operational, third-party,
model), compliance, finance, legal (contracting), sales/ marketing,
procurement, and business reporting.
- Candidates should have a strong track record in problem
solving, identifying and managing risk, and driving process
improvement.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate sound judgment in
prioritizing competing deliverables and escalating issues to senior
management.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills (verbal and
written).Technical Competencies
- A sound understanding of operational functions, risk management
(operational, third-party, model), compliance, finance, legal
(contracting), sales/ marketing, procurement, and business
reporting.
- Ability to create, own, and manage scalable processes to
support the aforementioned functions; and systematically generate
management and status reporting.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements and
controls for financial services companies.
- Familiarity with Archer, Risk Control Self-Assessment and other
Risk Management tools and frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, OneNote). SharePoint, SQL, Salesforce, Python and Visio
