Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Liaison to facilitate
communication regarding coding quality concerns and assist with
coding inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete requests from customers and partners to identify coding
quality issues and share findings with relevant teams
Assist the CDI team in resolving documentation inconsistencies and
educate on coding changes and guidelines
Conduct coding reviews related to potential lost revenue and
identify trends requiring coder education
Required Qualifications:
RHIA, RHIT, CCS certifications or a combination is required
Minimum of five years of inpatient coding experience
Ability to review complex medical records
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend large
operational data
