Job Summary:As a valued member of our multidisciplinary therapy team, the speech-language pathologist plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care at The University of Vermont Health Network. This key position requires a skilled professional to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and differential diagnoses of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
• Deliver therapy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
• Participate in consultative services within the organization and in the community.Requirements:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Clinical certification (CCC's) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the State of Vermont.
