TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled RN to join our team! As a Labor and
Delivery RN, you will be providing comprehensive care to mothers
and newborns during childbirth, including monitoring maternal and
fetal health, administering medications, assisting with pain
management, and offering emotional support throughout the labor and
delivery process. The ideal candidate for this role should possess
excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
--- Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical
thinking skills in patient care management
--- Monitor the baby's heart rate and contractions using fetal
monitoring equipment
--- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the
development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of
care.
--- Administer medications as ordered by the physician, including
pain relievers, epidurals, and other medications
--- Communicates effectively and professionally with patients,
family and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care
Team
Requirements:
--- Active NY licensure as a Registered Nurse
--- BSN, BLS, ACLS, NRP
--- EPIC experience
--- 2+ years minimum Labor and Delivery experience.
