• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local ContractRN - Surgical Stepdown
  
  Shift: 12-Hour Nights Shift - 36 hrs/week - Night Shift
  Schedule: Every Other Weekend & Holiday
  
  
  Unit Details:
  38-bed Stepdown Unit
  Patient population includes post-op patients transferred from PACU or SICU
  Specialties: Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant
  
  Nurse-to-patient ratio:
  Intermediate Care: 1:3
  MedSurg: 1:4 to 1:5
  
  --- Required Experience:
  Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care experience
  MUST have surgical stepdown experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center
  Prior IMCU/Stepdown experience
  Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
  Proficient with automated medication dispensing systems
  Must independently read & interpret telemetry rhythm strips
  
  Testing: Telemetry & Critical Care Meds test on Day 1
  
  --- Preferred:
  Experience in a tertiary care facility
  
  Certifications Required:
  BLS (Basic Life Support)
  ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  Active Massachusetts RN license (MA RN)
