• Employment Type: Travel Number of Beds - 4 in Annex (a secure locked psychiatric area holding for placement)
  25 procedure rooms (rooms with curtains or doors)
  8 hallway beds (utilized 24/7)
  · Number of Staff - 88 (combined job titles)
  Patient Ratios - 4:1 (flexibility in times of acute surge)
  · Type of equipment - U/S IV skills, Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis
  · EMR - Sunrise/ Allscripts
  · Patient Population - Multiple comorbidities, NEHI (New England Heart Institute) patients- complicated heart conditions, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Stroke
  Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
  · At least 2 years ED experience for contract labor
  · BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for contract labor

  · Strong critical thinking skills
  · Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators)
  Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  · BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for HCA hired staff
  · Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
