This site is nestled between eclectic Winooski and cultural Burlington, Vermont. CHCs Dental Hygienists are responsible for evaluating patient oral health, dental/medical history, dental complaints, and completing dental hygiene procedures in a public health setting.Community Health Centers offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work among a tight-knit team of dental professionals providing equitable quality care to all.Compensation commensurate with direct experience within the range of $40.82 to $52.31 per hour.Basic QualificationsVermont State License in Dental Hygienist with Local Anesthetic EndorsementCurrent CPR/AED Certification3 years of experience desired, but not required; new graduates welcome!Knowledge, Skills and AbilityComprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of oral hygiene and periodontal careAbility to work and communicate with a large group of professionals; dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and leadership staffKnowledge of dental medical emergenciesKnowledge of public health, social and economic factors that impact the health and oral health of patientsThe ability to travel to other CHCB locations as necessaryCHC Dental Benefits (if applicable):Dental scrub allocation for new employeesVermont licensure renewal reimbursement for licensed rolesPaid CE time (additional to allotted CTO) and CE funds for licensed applicable rolesStudent loan repayment opportunities through outside agencies such as NHSC and PSLFCHC Dental Clinical Space Offers:Updated clinical operatory spaceSchick sensor x-ray software/technologyPanoramic imagingNextgen Medical/Dental recordHuFriedy/Dentsply/American Eagle hygiene instruments, cassettes assigned per providerTap-on Cavitron/prophy polisher available in each hygiene opDental Hygiene Specifics:All adult prophies 60 min+ appointment time provider (dental hygienist) has the ability to add time to appointments as necessaryFlexibility with working hours create your ideal schedule!3 active dental sites option to work at 1, 2 or all 3 once fully orientatedCHC employee benefits highlights include:Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision coverage$600 annual wellness reimbursement!
