Facility Name: UVHN-University of Vermont Medical Center Total # of Facility Beds: 600 Unit Name: Operating Room Total # of ORs: 9 different service lines, 21 rooms, 3 which may be used for outpatient Teaching Facility: Yes Teaching Hospital Experience Required: Yes, requires experience in large, academic, level 1 trauma hospital in the last yr. Trauma Level: LEVEL 1 Prior Travel Experience Required: Yes Minimum # Years Clinical Experience Required: 2 years required Minimum # Years Clinical Experience in Specialty Required: 2 yrs. required RNs need to be able to circulate all specialties except CVOR cases. RNs need to be able to Scrub all General, GU, GYN, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Lap Cases, Thoracic, & Trauma cases. Certifications Required: RNs (VT or Compact License), BLS Certifications Preferred: CNOR Circulate/Scrub as applicable: Circulate & Scrub. Note skill set / service lines with both circulating + scrub. Uniforms: Scrubs provided --- Scrubs/color: provided by facility Documentation System: EPIC/Optime Floating Required: No, but within OR. Charge required: No Scheduling: --- Shift Hours: 1. Day/Eve Rotation (Day Shifts are 6:45a-5:15p & Eve Shifts are 9a-7:30p or 11a9:30pm) Self-Scheduling: No Weekend Requirements: As needed On-Call Requirements: 1. Yes, as needed. 2. Example: Could be 1 weeknight / week and one weekend every 2 weeks. 3. Weekday call hours: 5:15p-11p or 10:30p-6:45a 4. Weekend call hours: 7a-7p or 7p-7a 5. Candidates must be flexible. Holiday Requirements: Yes, as needed Patient Population: All General OR - Skill required; Ortho, Uro Oncology, DaVinci Robotics, General Surgery, ENT, Dental, Plastics, Neuro, Trauma, etc.
Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income. Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
