Job Summary

As a Cardiology Nurse with The University of Vermont Health Network, you will contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team providing patient-centered care in our 32-bed progressive-care CCU. You will be responsible for treating patients with heart-related conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering compassionate care to patients with structural heart problems, coronary stents, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and ST-Elevation MI's.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying patients' physical and emotional needs
• Develop and implement patient education programs, promoting self-care and disease management
  Requirements
  
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • At least 2 years of experience in a progressive care unit or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
