About the RoleThe University of Vermont Health Network seeks a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Addiction Treatment Center team. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and active licensure as an LADC in Vermont. Our team provides evidence-based outpatient services to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and diagnose substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders using the DSM and ICD.
• Assess patients for appropriate levels of care using ASAM criteria.
• Provide direct patient care, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
• Consult with primary care and other referring providers in the community.
• Present cases at weekly clinical rounds.
• Coordinate clinical services with other internal and external providers.
• Formulate and update patient care plans as needed.
• Continued care and discharge planning.Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health or related field.
  • Active LADC licensure in Vermont.
  • Preferred additional licensure as a clinical social worker or clinical mental health counselor.
