Job Description:
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our long-term
care team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Nurse
Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care to
patients awaiting placement in our alternative care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with various
diagnoses.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and
implement individualized care plans.
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and LNAs to ensure optimal patient
outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in long-term care or a related field
preferred.
- Charge nurse experience a plus.
