Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As an Inpatient Psychiatric RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals requiring acute mental health services.

About the Role:

Our RNs actively participate in treatment plans, treatment rounds, psychiatric assessment and care, along with medical/surgical assessment and care. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development, including training to cover the Charge RN role and to precept new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in treatment plans and treatment rounds
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and families
