At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Medical Imager/X-ray/CT to join our team.



The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:

• Prep and screen patient appropriately for imaging procedure. - - - -
• Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems. - - - -
• Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient. - - - -
• Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention. - - - -
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  
  
  
  Ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Currently Registered- Radiography, and CT - - - -
  • Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required. - - - -
  • Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements - - - -
  • Current BCLS certification - - - -
  • 2 years experienced preferred
