Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med-Surg Ortho, Med-Surg Adult, Med-Surg Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7 pm - 7 am (Three 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, includes every other weekend) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience License: Current multi-state licensure Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS highly desired Must-Have: Familiarity with Meditech preferred Job Description: - Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients, primarily focusing on adult care. - Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and occasional pediatric care. - Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population. - Utilize the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. - Prioritize holistic care, ensuring patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. - Report to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. - Participate in the orientation process which begins on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. - Ensure all required credentials are uploaded five business days before your start date for a seamless onboarding experience. - Be open to working in a 25-bed independent and nonprofit critical access hospital. - Engage in delivering primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, and round-the-clock emergency services with a team of dedicated board-certified physicians. - Orientation and first extension of assignment can be up to 26 weeks, with an opportunity to reapply after one year away.
