-Job Summary
-Reporting to the Speech Pathology Supervisor with line responsibility to department coordinators, provides pediatric based speech pathology evaluations and treatment. - Responsible to the patient and family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect care delivered. The Speech Pathologist will provide outpatient speech/language/feeding and swallowing services to children (0-18yrs) with developmental, neurological, and medically based communication disorders. - -

Minimum Qualifications
-

• Education
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech Pathologist strongly preferred, including pediatric feeding/swallowing and autism.
    • Licensure and/or Certification
      • Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required.
      • C.C.C. by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required.
      • BLS required within 4 months from hire.
      • Skills
        • Problem solving skills.
        • Courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public both in person and on the phone.
        • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
        • Committed to Service Excellence and Customer Satisfaction.
        • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
        • Computer skills required.
        • Ability to maintain confidential information. -
