Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our global engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for military and aerospace applications. This role will drive innovation, oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities, and ensure the successful execution of product development strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep technical expertise, a passion for excellence, and a proven ability to manage global teams in a fast-paced environment.Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to global engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design and development of high-performance products that meet the stringent requirements of military and aerospace applications.
• Develop and execute global engineering strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring design excellence, cost-effectiveness, and product reliability.
• Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across international engineering teams to optimize product development and integration.
• Manage engineering resources, budgets, and project timelines efficiently to meet business and technical goals.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into the product portfolio.
• Perform other duties as needed to support organizational goals.Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in an engineering department, with a strong background in the military, aerospace, or related industries.
  • 2+ years of experience managing global engineering teams.
  • 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in interconnect design and manufacturing processes.
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to military and aerospace applications.
  • Strong project management skills with a history of successful product launches.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.Travel Requirements:This role requires frequent international and domestic travel, including 4 to 5 trips to China per year to support global engineering operations.
