Transporter (Driver) Part-time - Job Description
Reports To: Program Director
Pay Rate up to $17.00hr
Location: Pike, NH
MPA Transportation Transporters are professionally trained and
dedicated faculty. Transporters are typically part-time positions
who are responsible for driving students to and from appointments
and home for the weekends throughout New England using company
vehicles equipped with cameras and GPS location devices for safety
in all of the transport vehicles. The hours vary and typically
involve driving for an average of 4-6 hour trips round trip during
all 7 days of the week. If you enjoy driving and interacting with

struggling adolescents find a "zest for life" and succeed in the

services to a diverse population of "hard to treat" and "difficult
to place" adolescence. Our targeted services include home and
community-based treatment, residential treatment programs, group

Mission:
MPA'S mission is to provide a caring, safe therapeutic environment
where students have the opportunity to grow and acquire the skills
they need to reach their educational and social potential. We aim
to develop trusting relationships with students and facilitate
experiences that promote their ability to self-regulate; manage
thoughts and feelings; and develop feelings of safety, confidence,
and competency.
Position Summary:
Responsible for timely transportation and supervision of clients
during off-site appointments and authorized home visits.
Encourage student success and engagement.
Practices 100% supervision of students.
Celebrate student successes, reinforce positive behavior, and
encourage growth from adversity.
Engage and connect with students as a compassionate and
understanding professional.
Gain TCI certification, and practice TCI principles.
Maintain proper control and understanding of student medications
and timing of same.
Utilize an understanding of ARC to provide a framework for student
success.
Manage students' crisis with compassion and understanding, seeking
positive outcomes.
Facilitate off-site appointments with intentional and thoughtful
planning.
Attend work with punctuality, and manage time effectively.
Communicate with Behavioral Specialists about potential high-risk
behaviors (if necessary).
Practice negotiation, cooperation, and collaboration with students
towards the program's goals.
Professionally document service delivery and behavior-related
incidents in a timely manner.
Incident Reports, FYIs, Pro-Socials
Health visit reports
Actively gain understanding of the importance of accurate and
timely documentation.
Act as a professional, and seek professional improvement.
Manage personal stress effectively by regulation of personal
agitation levels.
Establish rapport with students while maintaining professional
boundaries.
Intentionally seek supervision, mentorship, and professional
development.
Connect the program's policies to day-to-day operations and
personal decision making.
Follows & agrees to company transportation policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
Must meet safe driver guidelines as established by employer's
insurance carrier.
Position requires criminal history background check.
Must be 21 or older.
